What is the DQ200 Mechatronics Unit?
The DQ200 (0AM) DSG Mechatronics Unit is the hydraulic and electronic control centre of Volkswagen Group’s 7-speed dry-clutch DSG transmission. It controls gear selection, clutch actuation, shift timing, and pressure regulation, ensuring smooth and precise gear changes.
When this unit fails, the gearbox is unable to operate correctly, even if the mechanical components are still in good condition.
Our Proven Refurbishment Approach (Why Ours Is Different)
After extensive testing and real-world experience, we use the most reliable configuration available:
-
✅ Valve Body: Genuine refurbished valve body
Fully rebuilt, cleaned, tested, and calibrated to restore correct hydraulic pressure and shift operation. -
✅ TCU (Transmission Control Unit): NEW Genuine OEM TCU (0AM927769D)
❗ We deliberately do not use refurbished TCUs.
In our experience, refurbished or reworked TCUs are often in poor condition and are a common cause of repeat failures.
After testing all possible combinations, this genuine OEM TCU paired with a refurbished valve body has proven to be the most reliable and long-term solution.
This setup offers factory-correct performance, improved longevity, and significantly reduces the risk of recurring faults.
Common Symptoms of a Failing DQ200 Mechatronics Unit
