DQ380 / DQ381 / DQ500 Clutch Pressure Sensor Replacement - Mail-In DSG TCU Repair Service

Mail-in clutch pressure sensor replacement for the Bosch TCU fitted to VAG 7-speed wet clutch DSG gearboxes. You send us your transmission control unit, we replace both clutch pressure sensors, bench test the unit before and after, and send your own unit back ready to refit.

Because we repair your original TCU, there is no immobiliser matching, no coding and no adaptation data to transfer. Your unit goes back into the car exactly as it came out, only with healthy sensors.

Same or next day. If your unit reaches us in the morning, the repair is completed that day and dispatched that afternoon or the following morning, depending on the carrier.

What to send us -

We do not need the complete mechatronic unit. We only need the main black TCU with the VAG logo and part number on it.

1. Save your original fault codes and adaptation data before you start.
2. Remove the mechatronic unit from the vehicle.
3. Separate the TCU from the mechatronic. It splits away from the valve body.
4. Wrap the TCU securely and box it with your name, phone number, return address and order number enclosed.
5. Send it to the address on your order confirmation.

After you refit -

Reset the adaptation values and relearn the clutch characteristics, not just a basic settings run. Skipping the adaptation reset is the single most common reason fresh clutch codes appear after a sensor replacement, and it gets mistaken for a failed repair. Check the transmission fluid level and temperature are correct before you start.
